ATTN: D&D players

Half-drow have the same racial traits as Half-elves, but all Half-Elves are assumed to be half Human. My question: What traits does a Half-drow get if the other half is also Elven?

I thought you generally chose between the races.

But maybe that's my simplistic Solar bringin'-up.

my personal guess is to try and consolidate all the racial traits into one, like a half way point between them. Which shouldn't be to hard, considering Drow are elves, just raised differently. At least, that's the theory.

I wonder how that would even happen. Keep in mind that the character would be utterly loathed by both parents' races. Not disliked like half-elves, but real stabby-doom-hatred.

And... yeah. Just find a middle ground with the racial traits between the two, but take training stuff as per whatever society they lived in.

most likely it would be a surface elf used as a slave that had the child. Same applys to Half-drow of human parentage. Rape is also a possibility, as it D&D, not SOLAR.
